Description
The Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association (PCA) seeks a professionally-minded, highly competent and technologically savvy Administrative Assistant for a full time position. The PCAis the Commonwealth's largest professional association representing the interests of Doctors of Chiropractic. PCA is a member-centric, member-driven association, led by Chiropractors andmanaged by a highly skilled staff and multiple working committees.

The ideal candidate is someone who is a generalist in nature and enjoys "wearing many hats", a multi-tasker in the office environment; possesses a consistently positive professional outlook; excellent people skills; comfortable in a small office environment and is very comfortable and experienced with computer software and technology.

Position Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point-of-contact between PCA, its members and the public.
• Responds to and/or directs phone calls, emails to the proper staff and/or PCA committee
• Provides general office support to the PCA staff (e.g., as needed, supports accounts receivable, accounts payable, general membership, and record-keeping)
• Supports PCA's Executive Team and Board of Directors
• Directly supports PCA's Executive Vice President
• Manages PCA's social media networking (Facebook, Linkedln, twitter etc.)
• In collaboration with the PCA staff, designs and distributes PCA communications
• In collaboration with the EVP, prepares and distributes the final Board of Directors meeting agenda and provides administrative support during Board meetings
• In collaboration with the EVP, prepares, distributes and coordinates PCA's Annual Meeting of Members
• Supports PCA's Districts as needed, including preparing and distributing meeting notices

About this opportunity
40 hours/ week, 9am-5pm, M-F; occasional need for flexibility in working schedule to accommodate PCA functions. Must be able to occasionally travel within Pennsylvania for PCA related functions, but limited to a few times a year.

Position Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher
• 3-5 years of experience in association administration and/or health care field (ideally, both a plus, but not required)
• Exceptional phone and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity working with spreadsheets (formulas/tables), databases and especially, data-mining.
