Testing - QA Lead (NC) - PA

Within the scrum framework, work with a self-organizing, cross-functional team to execute a testing and quality assurance program. Responsible for creating testing scenarios and/or working with the team to create testing documentation and participate in testing walk-throughs.

Responsibilities:

Continually improve the testing/QA processes and capabilities. Scope of testing function is from Design through User Acceptance Testing
Collaborate with the team in defining testing environment, test strategies and test plans
Put the structure in place to monitor, measure, control and report on test progress and test results
Work closely with teams to understand requirements and ensures functional requirements are addressed
Check if the team has all the necessary resources to execute the testing activities.
Ensure proper configuration management of the tests produced and traceability of the tests to the test basis
Provide foundation for consistent test cases/scripts and reporting
Ensure quality throughout all of testing

Qualifications:

Familiarity with processes and practices in specific business process area.

Experience with specific package or custom solutions used for specific business process area.
Knowledge of relevant technologies for business process area (e.g., JDE, Priya, TMW Suite).
Experience with participating on project teams and/or agile scrum teams.
Familiarity in the use of design/development tools, including SQL and UPK.
Excellent Written and Verbal Communications Skills
Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills
Strong – Microsoft Office Professional Suite
Lean concepts and practices

Essential Functions:

Required to travel by personal/company car to meeting and/or work assignments at other locations
Work in a seated position for a majority of the workday up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. (Extended hours may be required as necessary)
Occasionally work a variety of hours (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
Occasionally walk, stand, climb, kneel, and stoop intermittently up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. (Extended hours may be required as necessary)
Work in an environment that contains:
Variable temperatures and humidity
Exposure to dust, dirt and noise
Exposure to moving conveyors and moving equipment
See, hear and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper safety conditions
Perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, writing, typing, and/or word processing (with computer), filing, calculating and use of telephone
Demonstrate cognitive ability to:
Follow directions and routines
Work independently with appropriate judgment
Exhibit spatial awareness
Read words and numbers
Concentrate, memorize and recall
Identify logical connections and determine sequence of response
Process up to 2-3 steps ahead
